Bereits die englische Originalausgabe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.de\/gp\/product\/1419729470\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1638&amp;creative=6742&amp;creativeASIN=1419729470&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=happyhapburn-21&amp;linkId=b00cbd398b717c251ffe96ee4e03486e\">Mending Matters<\/a>* hat mich beim Erscheinen vom Hocker gehauen und es war klar, dass ich das Buch auf Faserplaudereiblog vorstellen muss.<\/p>\n<p>Katrina Rodabaugh zeigt anhand von 22 Projekten absoluten Eyecatcher-Projekten, wie Kleidung durch Recycling und Upcycling zu faishonablen Einzelst\u00fccken umfunktioniert werden. Dabei beweist sie unglaublich guten Stil, denn ihre Reparaturen wirken eher wie Haute-Couture denn wie Flickarbeit. Das gesamte Buch ist in ruhigen Blau- und Wei\u00dft\u00f6nen gehalten und erinnert durchweg an die japanische Sashiko-Technik, bei der typischerweise indigofarbene Textilien mit wei\u00dfen Kontrastmustern bestickt werden. Die vorgestellten Projekte sind aus hochwertigen Materialien gearbeitet, die lange haltbar sind, aber auch auf interessante und ansprechende Art altern, was sie zu lebenslangen Begleitern machen kann.<\/p>\n<p>Das Buch beinhaltet einen Infoteil zum Thema Slow Fashion, Modefasten bzw. Nachhaltigkeit. Anschlie\u00dfend werden Werkzeuge, Materialien und Grundtechniken f\u00fcr Au\u00dfen- und Innenflicken, Stickstiche, Stopfen und Weben sowie Upcycling vorgestellt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Pros:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Absolut ansprechendes Layout und Design\u2026dieses Buch ist ein Hingucker. Ich habe regelrecht auf die deutsche Ausgabe hingefiebert<\/li>\n<li>Gut bebilderte Anleitungen zum leichten Verst\u00e4ndnis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Cons:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Keine Anleitung zum schn\u00f6den Sockenstopfen, dabei h\u00e4tte ich gerade hier am h\u00e4ufigsten Bedarf.
